I am a student at the LSM program at UPenn and Wharton, planning on majoring in Biochemistry and Finance. I am passionate about biomedical research and oncology. I have received awards for my research, which consists of drug design and synthesis, targeting the heparanase enzyme implicated in tumor growth and metastasis. Research surrounding drug development holds promise for the treatment of a multitude of "incurable" diseases, including cancer. I believe that teaching about its implications can inspire others to seek opportunities in translational research.
