About me
Getting stuck in one's own mind, racing thoughts or worries, unrelenting anxiety, feeling perpetually afraid that others will leave, or afraid that others will get too close. These experiences can affect our functioning in important areas of our lives. They can pull us away from being the kind of person we want to be and having the kinds of relationships we want to experience. Because these challenges are common, they have been well-researched, and effective approaches to addressing them have been identified.
Dan believes in the value of evidence-based medicine and is familiar with a number of therapies (e.g. cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, attachment-focused work). However, his clinical philosophy is “do what works”.
