About me
Hi, I’m Courtney Goldman, an award-winning Film and TV Editor with over 10 years of professional experience in post-production, storytelling, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
I’ve been nominated for four Emmys, received two Canadian Screen Award nominations, won a Director’s Guild of Canada Award, and edited more than 100 episodes of broadcast television. My credits include acclaimed series such as ODD SQUAD, WAFFLES + MOCHI’S RESTAURANT, GHOSTWRITER, and DINO DANA.
I specialize in shaping raw footage into emotionally engaging, story-driven edits that feel seamless and intentional. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of pacing, performance, professional workflows, director/showrunner/producer/network communication, and delivery standards inside real television environments.
In addition to my work in television, I teach Intro to Post-Production at Sheridan College, where I train students in editing theory, Adobe Premiere Pro, and the practical skills required to succeed in the industry.
In my courses, you’ll learn real-world editing techniques used in professional TV, along with clear, practical instruction you can apply immediately. My goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and fully prepared for your first job as a professional video editor.
