Professionally, my background is in economics and statistics. I currently work as a senior statistician in finance where I use Python to analyze and model data daily. I hold a B.S in Economics and an M.S. in Marketing Analytics.
My teaching philosophy is to focus on using hands-on examples and real-world data so the things you learn can be applied immediately. I believe that coding is something that anyone can learn how to do. I also believe that it is important for me, as an instructor, to be responsive to the feedback and questions you provide.
