Christian Frentzen is an acclaimed pianist, keyboardist and recording engineer currently based in Cologne, Germany. He has played with international music acts such as Till Brönner, Max Mutzke, Nils Landgren, Rüdiger Baldauf, Stefanie Heinzmann, Julia Neigel and many more. He won countless prizes including WDR young talent award and a prestigious Steinway Jazz Piano Solo Award in 2011. Aside from being on tour and playing music, he works as a recording and mixing engineer and produces music. He worked as a piano and keyboard sample libray producer. In 2023 he released his second solo album "Second Encounter" which showcases his broad and diverse musical horizon. The album features stars such as Dannielle De Andrea (scary pockets, Joe Bonamassa, Larry Goldings), jazz guitarist Nir Felder (SNL, George Duke, John Scofield etc.) and Dino Soldo, the latter being a long-term member of Lionel Richie’s band. Spotify took several songs from that album and featured it on their jazz playlists.
