Charles Vogan has been teaching the Bible for the last 40 years in many venues.
He has earned a BA in Bible from Eastern Mennonite College, an M.Div. with a minor in Missions from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS; a Ph.D. (unaccredited) from International Bible College and Seminary (Independence, MO), and received a Th.M. degree in Biblical Studies from Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
He has been an occasional conference speaker for various interdenominational organizations. He also served in two churches as Pastor a total of ten years, and not only kept a full program of Bible studies going in the churches but also in the local university with college students.
Vogan was also the Professor of Biblical Interpretation at Washington Baptist University in Annandale, VA for 2 1/2 years, both on the college and seminary levels.
It was during his first pastorate that he began writing his books. To date he has written 49 titles in the area of Biblical Studies – ranging from basic Bible Studies to college-level texts, covering a full range of subjects from book studies to surveys to specialized thematic studies. His latest work is a full-scale Biblical Theology (600 pages), a “capstone” of 40 years of working out the message of the Bible. Published under his own trade name of Ravenbrook Publishers, almost all of these titles are available on Amazon, iTunes and Kindle.
He has also recorded over 50 hours (over 150 videos) of class and presentation videos and successfully used them in teaching students at both the college and seminary level.
In addition to the Biblical Studies, he has written a half-dozen other books on astronomy, amateur radio, historical atlases, and even a children’s book! Besides writing and publishing his own materials for teaching the Bible, he is also a portrait artist, woodworker, avid motorcyclist, and radio amateur.
He is married with six children and twelve grandchildren.
