My views of thinking skills have evolved over many years of work and exploration through my four career choices: military (USMC); engineering, business and manufacturing consulting, and education / training.

I explored some of my views about business thinking while authoring or coauthoring six book: The Prepared Mind of a Leader (2006); ReThink, ReInvent, RePosition (2010), Rightsizing Your Business (2011), MindLab II (2012), Demystifying Business Strategy (2019), and the Pragmatic Strategist Workbook (2022).

I have conducted hundreds of workshops focused on critical and strategic thinking for large and small businesses around the world.
