Barry Rodriguez is the lead pastor of Grace Church in Noblesville, Indiana. He is a Bible nerd, world-traveler, and history buff. He is passionate about global justice, creation care, and the protection of the vulnerable. His journey through skepticism about the Bible has given him a calling to help others navigate theirs.
Barry has a master's degree from Fuller Seminary. Before becoming a pastor, Barry was executive director of World Next Door, a non-profit social justice travel magazine, which gave him the unique experience of living in slums, refugee camps, mountain villages, etc. and encountering the healing work of the local church in over 20 countries.
Barry and his wife, Olivia, have an organic animal rescue farm where they have adopted and fostered over 90 potbelly pigs, chickens, rabbits, and dogs. Barry's hobbies include woodworking, permaculture gardening, reading scholarly articles about ancient Roman archeology, and collecting new hobbies.
