Barrett, is a global creative and  educator who serves as  individuals, couples, children, and families through psychological and spiritual counseling and direction. Her curiosity, passion, communications experience and clinical pastoral care training is combined with her lifelong mission to “build bridges between people across cultures". 

Her book "Midlife Opportunity: Power, Money and Wellbeing in Your Late 30s & Early 40s" has been used to navigate the early midlife transition and avoid midlife crisis. She has also written another personal growth book and workbook, "30 Ways To Transform Your life" Both book are also online learning courses. 

Additionally Barrett is a children's books author (under the pen name Barrett Clemmensen Powell) -- "Lori Leak Travels to Paris" , "Lori Leak Travels to Copenhagen" and "Lori Leak Travels to San Diego" are the first 3 of 50 planned books done in collaboration with illustrator and educator Kristen Palana.

Barrett infuses her life with pasion and fun -- traveling the world (she is multilingual), teaching as a university guest lecturer, reading, maintaining her spiritual business practice, cooking gourmet meals, hosting dinner parties, skiing, running, surfing and whitewater rafting. Barrett's years of education and research, interests and training have created a unique and significant practice that educates, empowers, challenges, inspires and motivates her clients.
