Hi, I’m Dr. Anusuya Kathirvel — a passionate educator and researcher specializing in the thermal management of electronic systems and radiative cooling techniques. I hold a Ph.D. in Energy Engineering, with research focused on enhancing the thermal reliability of electronics using innovative passive cooling solutions suited for real-world applications.
With over 5 years of teaching experience, I currently serve as an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Excellence for Electronic Cooling and CFD Simulation, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology. I teach and mentor students in:
Electronic Thermal Management
Heat and Mass Transfer
Renewable Energy Systems
CFD Simulation using COMSOL and Ansys Icepak
My academic work is supported by government-funded projects in electronic cooling and solar energy, and I’ve published several impactful papers in peer-reviewed journals covering topics like radiative cooling in PV systems, agrophotovoltaics, and microinverter thermal reliability. I also hold a patent in immersion cooling systems and actively collaborate with research communities like the International Solar Energy Society.
Here on Udemy, I’m excited to share my expertise in thermal system design, simulation, and energy-efficient cooling technologies—transforming theory into practice for students, engineers, and professionals.
Let’s learn, simulate, and solve real-world thermal challenges—together.
