Hi there! I'm Andreína, a fiber artist and crochet teacher dedicated to students of all levels. My journey into the world of crochet began at age nine, guided by my grandma and mom who taught me the basic stitches. I still cherish fond memories of them crocheting blankets and sweaters on the porch. As I grew older, my fascination deepened, leading me to buy my first crochet magazine at just 11, immediately captivated by the endless patterns and creations.
Beyond the hook and yarn, my main profession is as a dentist specializing in restorative dentistry and endodontics. This background has further honed my passion for precision and detail, qualities I bring to my teaching and personal projects in crochet. Since those early days, I've continuously studied and learned new techniques in this beautiful art, constantly expanding my skills across various projects and styles, and sharing that knowledge through teaching.
