Anam Clarke, founder of The Designers’ Studio LLC in Dubai, the UAE, has in excess of 15 years of Interior Design and architecture experience, 12 of those in the Middle East including running her own practice. Born and raised in London, she developed her passion and studied Architectural Interior Design at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in Chelsea. She worked with the royals at David Linley Interiors during her career in London before moving to Dubai.

Her working portfolio includes Residential, Commercial, Hospitality and Food and Beverage projects all over the world. On top running her furniture factory & interior design company, she is the founder of the most prestigious Interior Design training Academy in the Middle East- The Designers Studio Technical Skills Training LLC. She has single handedly broken down barriers in education, paving the way for adult learning. Her core belief is that everyone should be able to learn at any age, with flexibility around their own lives. That is the ethos behind The Designers Studio and how the studio delivers education.

She has worked with Sheikhs palaces and won many awards for her design work. She has been featured in magazines across the globe such as Harper’s Bazaar, Inside out, Grazia, Better Living, Commercial Interior Design, Design Middle East to name but a few. She speaks annually at the Index exhibition in the UAE and writes a column for ‘Emirates Home’ regularly.

Anam is extremely passionate about design, sharing her open minded, out of the box approach to design with her students. Anam is particularly well-versed in programmes such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and V-Ray and she looks forward to sharing her tricks of the trade with her students.
