Dr. Amit Kumar Yadav received his B. Tech in 2009 from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, and M. Tech in 2011 from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Artificial Neural Network-based Prediction of Solar Radiation for Optimum Sizing of Photovoltaic Systems for Power Generation in 2016 from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India.
He served as a faculty member at the National Institute of Technology, Sikkim, from 2015 to 2023. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor at School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, SR University, Warangal, Telangana, India.
His research interests include Artificial Intelligence application in Energy Systems, condition monitoring of photovoltaic systems, solar and wind resource assessment.
He has supervised more than 20 undergraduate projects and 2 M. Tech. projects and 10 students are pursuing PhD. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports and PLOS ONE, both Q1-ranked journals.
Dr. Yadav has authored 50 research publications, with most papers published in journals with an impact factor of up to 10.59. His research profile includes an h-index of 23, an i10-index of 32, and more than 3,450 citations.
He is ranked among the Top 2% of Researchers in Energy as per the Stanford University World Ranking of Scientists and was listed in the Top 2% Most Influential Scientists (Single Year) in Stanford University's 2023 analysis of Indian researchers. He is also an active reviewer for various reputed journals.
