I got a late start into corporate America. I was off working in the sports industry and the nonprofit world. The next thing I knew, life happened and I found myself trying to figure out what was next.
-I wondered if I had what it takes to be in business.
-I wondered if I had any marketable skills.
-I wondered if anyone would even hire me.
-I wondered if I'd ever have a "real career."
I was able to land a part-time, data entry role at a start up. I didn't know it at the time, but that would be my first step to a legitimate business career-- at the bottom.
WOW did I have a lot to learn. The language was new. The metrics were new. The expectations were new. I had a lot to figure out and I needed to figure it out fast or I'd fall even further behind.
The good news is, I did actually figure it out. I was able to develop new skills that set me up for success, resulting in 6 promotions in 3 years.
But what really matters to me is that now I get to teach others the exact framework I used to grow my career.
I'd love to help you get that promotion and raise you are after by having you learn the tools I used to get mine in the A-Player Blueprint.
