My name is Alex, and I am currently a Senior Software Engineer working in the Devops, SRE, and Infrastructure space. My experience mainly revolves around infrastructure, automation, and architecture work, where I help scale and maintain software, develop internal tools to automate processes, and guide engineering practices to establish good DevOps principles.
Since 2017, where I started my software engineer career as a Help Desk Analyst, I've worked in several different companies of all sizes and backgrounds. From the hyper growth startups, to the more established enterprises. Along the way, I have been given the experience to use some exciting tools, see how engineering practices are done in many different ways, and most importantly teach and mentor others.
Prior to starting my career, I used to be a Computer Science tutor for my university, and that's where I first learned how much I loved to teach and help others.
