Hello, I'm Adam César, and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Prague, Czechia. During my high school years at the American Academy in Prague, from 2017 to 2021, I discovered my passion for technology and security. Wanting to explore this field further, I enrolled at Unicorn University in 2021 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. Besides my studies, I took it upon myself to gain practical knowledge and became a Bitdefender Certified Technical Specialist.
Career Beginnings:
Before starting university, I joined VirusLab s.r.o. in August 2021 as a Call Center Operator. For four months, I helped customers with antivirus software installation and adjustments. Later, I was given the opportunity to work as a Technical Specialist. In this role, I was responsible for monitoring cybersecurity for small and medium-sized businesses and providing technical support.
Joining McKinsey & Company:
In May 2022, I transitioned to a role as a Security Analyst at McKinsey & Company. This was a big step for me, and I was excited to take on more responsibilities. Here, I handle vendor assessments for external clients and third-party vendors. My aim is to ensure the security standards are met and maintained.
My toolkit includes a wide range of skills, such as SPL, Agile Methodologies, CompTIA, JavaScript, Scripting, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cybersecurity, Technical Support, and Information Security.
Looking Ahead:
As of now, in mid-2023, I am still working with McKinsey & Company and I am excited about the path I am on. The world of information security is constantly evolving, and I am committed to staying at the forefront of this field. My journey so far has been both challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to contributing to the safety and security of the digital realm.
