About me
Hello Art Lovers my name Aakanksha Dubey. Art has been my companion since the age of eight, when I first discovered the joy of painting cartoons on the walls of my childhood home. What began as a playful hobby soon became an essential part of my identity. However, as life often demands, my passion for art took a backseat during my higher studies. Despite stepping away, the pull of creativity never left me, and once I finished college, I found my way back to painting — this time with a renewed energy and dedication that has never wavered.
Today, I am a full-time artist, immersing myself in the vibrant world of colour and creativity. My artistic repertoire spans multiple mediums: I paint with acrylics and watercolours, and I draw with coloured pencils and graphite pencils. Experimentation is at the heart of my craft. I find immense joy in pushing the boundaries of these mediums, discovering new textures, and watching the interplay of colours unfold in unexpected ways. Every creation is an adventure, a journey that keeps my artistic spirit alive.
Beyond creating, I share my love for art by teaching painting and drawing to others. There is a unique satisfaction in seeing students discover their own artistic voices and in guiding them to explore the endless possibilities that art offers. Additionally, I sell my artwork, ensuring that each piece finds a home where it can inspire and bring joy to others.
In the digital age, I’ve embraced technology to expand my reach. My YouTube channel (Canvas Whispererr) is a creative hub where I share my art, techniques, and insights with a global audience. Whether it’s teaching, demonstrating, or simply showcasing my latest work, the channel allows me to connect with fellow art enthusiasts and build a community that shares my passion.
For me, art is more than a career — it is the very foundation of my life. It is the constant that I hold on to, the thread that weaves through every moment of my journey. Through my work, I strive to celebrate the beauty of creation, inspire others to explore their own creativity, and make the world just a bit more colourful, one stroke at a time.
