What is forgiveness?
In Webster's dictionary, this is how forgiveness is defined: “To give up resentment against; stop being angry with; pardon; give up all claim to punish; overlook; cancel a debt.” This means forgiveness is releasing the feeling that the other person owes us something. What happens when that debt is never paid or forgiven? Do we just carry it with us for the rest of our lives? Many times, we do! Who is it truly hurting? Us or them? When we release that feeling we are freeing ourselves and the baggage that we carry.
Forgiveness is an opportunity to start over and refocus your attention on what you desire.
You may believe that forgiveness is challenging, but when you understand who it is truly for—you—then it becomes easier. When you practice forgiveness, you will feel empowered. Forgiveness is freedom.
I want to share this information because Forgiveness was a HUGE part of my Spiritual Awakening. I know first hand how HEALING it is to truly let go of pain and resentment and MOVE ON with my life and be happy. I want others to know how BIG this is and how much it can improve their lives! Holding onto guilt and/or resentment is like locking your happiness in a prison.
A forgiveness activity you can do alone, or with a partner if you choose.
An important part of forgiveness is the apology.
How holding onto guilt or anger is resisting and basically trying to change the past...which is impossible.
Many times, changing your perspective, can change how you feel about something. You can look at forgiving in a more positive way.
How having too high or low expectations can hurt your happiness and your ability to forgive and let go.
Changing your thoughts about a situation can change your emotions about it, which can make forgiving easier.

I'm an outgoing, outspoken, passionate person that loves to help people feel better inside. I always knew I wanted to help people as a career which eventually led me to becoming a Certified Life Coach. I enjoyed it so much I achieved my Master Life Coaching Certification, which mean't taking a lot of Certification courses to gain multiple skills. For me, it was totally fun! I was changing my own life, while learning to help others do the same!
Before this, I had followed my Soul to Energy work and became a Certified Reiki Practitioner. Even before that I had read Tarot cards for 10 years. Working in matters of Energy as well as the Mind is what I do. Soul work is my work, and I'm happy to be able to reach people with my message.
