Instructor Biography

Benjamin Meyer, Ingenieur, Produzent, Trainer

My name is Benjamin Meyer and I was born in Solingen, Germany, in 1987.

After passing my A-levels I studied engineering at the senior technical college in Cologne and got my bachelor´s degree in 2013.

From an early age on I have been interested in deejaying and producing my own music. Meanwhile I can look back on eight years of experience as a DJ and I have been working as a producer for six years now.

During this time I have mainly used the DAW program FL Studio and various plug-in instruments, among them Nexus, Sylenth1, Massive, Kontakt and Spire. By focusing on this special kind of software I was able to acquire the necessary expertise and professionalism.

My favorite genres are Dance and Electro, but I also like producing Big Room and other genres. At the moment I´m working for the Dance and Electro collabo Solid&Sound; our first single will be released by the end of 2014/early 2015.

I´m a passionate instructor for music productions and have been a devoted guitar tutor for many years.

But as my main focus lies with electronic music, I would like to pass on my knowledge in this field.

______________
