This course is perfect for the complete novice / beginner you will learn three different paintings techniques used for painting and finishing Shabby Chic furniture and products.
During this course you will learn the essential basics such as distressing (aged look) , Crackalacquer ( Crackle glazing ) and waxing (light / dark waxing).
Our friendly and expert training will go on to guide you through the process step by step giving you the basic skills to start your very own Shabby Chic dream.

Hi my name is Andre Chambers and I am the head trainer for Chic Appeal.
I have been Producing Shabby Chic effect furniture for more than five years and have been the head trainer for Chic Appeal for the past two years. I enjoy the fabulous and rewarding role of leading the workshops which we hold at Burghley House in Stamford, one of the most beautiful Stately Homes in England UK.
Our video course was created after many requests from people who could not attend our UK courses but wanted to learn the skills themselves, to create their own Shabby Chic furniture and accessories.
I am passionate about style of furniture, I love the look and ambiance it gives to any home. I relish the opportunity to use a free or low cost piece of furniture and make it into something very personal and special.
