  • You need a computer with an Internet connection
  • You need a desire to learn Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Discovery
  • You need to be someone looking for an easier and faster way to learn and do AI rather than rotting away in a school for years

This course is for the absolute beginner to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Science. If you are feeling overwhelmed by either the tsunami of data that you are tasked with trying to make sense out of, or overwhelmed by the tsunami of media coverage around Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Data Science, and Machine Learning, I am here to share a competitive advantage.

There is an AI and Data Discovery platform that can be constructed and configured with clicks instead of code. That platform? Salesforce Einstein. The disruptive power of this is that Artificial Intelligence is now available to the masses, and not just to the quants and data scientists among us. You can now not only catch the competition, but leap frog past them, by leveraging Salesforce Einstein as your On-Demand Data Scientist.

Salesforce is the revolutionary company that disrupted the IT Industry with the advent Cloud Computing. What started as a cloud-based CRM system is now a best-in-breed, world class enterprise platform-as-a-service for Marketing, Sales, Service, eCommerce, Health, Government, IoT, and now AI, with the release of Salesforce Einstein.

In this course, we will work through the core concepts of Artificial Intelligence, in plain English. From there, we will work through signing up for a free Salesforce Einstein account (that you can keep for life) that has the new Salesforce Einstein AI engine enabled. This deep learning engine is a historic breakthrough on the computing capabilities of AI and are accessible to the masses by way of clicks instead of code.

We will then work through several different practice exercises and modules to get you hands on experience with building enterprise level apps with AI baked right in. There is no coding required - you can build AI enabled apps with clicks instead of code, thanks to being able to leverage the Salesforce Einstein AI framework. I will show you how in this quick and fun course that will get you well on your way to becoming an AI expert.

Are you ready to become an AI developer? Let's get started immediately!

Importing Data Sets into Salesforce Einstein Discovery
6 Lectures 40:04

In this introductory lecture, I run through what we will be covering in this particular section of the course related to importing data sets into Einstein Discovery.

Preview 01:08

In this lecture, we walk through downloading the sample data set .csv file and then we work through the process of importing the data into Salesforce Einstein Discovery. I also show you how to perform data cleanup steps in your data set from within Einstein Discovery as well as changing the specified data types of fields.

Importing CSV Data Sets into Salesforce Einstein Discovery

In this lecture, I demonstrate how to add a connection to a Salesforce instance to Einstein Discovery. I then import my own data from my own org related to my course reviews and ratings into Einstein Discovery. I also perform data cleanup on my data set.

Importing Salesforce Data into Salesforce Einstein Discovery

I show you how to import data from Hadoop, MySQL, Netezza, Oracle, Postgres, SAP and SQL Server into Einstein Discovery through the Datasets import screen. We also revisit importing .csv data sets. I introduce you to a couple of other websites that provide good data sets which you can query and download for your own use in Einstein Discovery.

A couple of datasets that I use are related to Crime Data for a city, as well as programming and rating data for Netflix programming. We import these data sets into Salesforce Einstein Discovery.

I finish out this lecture by demonstrating how to connect to a MySQL database in Salesforce Einstein Discovery and grab the contents of a table from it. I also find that the datasets have a minimum limit of 1000 rows.

Importing Other Data Sets into Salesforce Einstein Discovery

In this text lecture, I provide the steps of importing your first dataset into Salesforce.

Helpful Practice Activity – Import Data into Einstein Discovery Trail

In this lecture I demonstrate how to rename a dataset. I also show how to delete datasets in Einstein Discovery. We also cover how to change data types of fields in datasets. I demonstrate how to delete fields in a dataset and apply changes as well as renaming columns.

Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) - Premiere Pro CC

I use the Adobe Creative Cloud everyday, specifically working in Premiere Pro, After EffectsPhotoshop. I have obtained my Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) certification in Premiere Pro CC and am currently working towards certifications in Photoshop CC & After Effects CC as well.

I have been working full time in video production for over 4 years now and have gained valuable insights into the production pipeline & workflow. I am currently working for my father's company, Mike Wheeler Media LLC, as Chief Design Officer.

I hope to soon create Adobe courses of my own & teach all that I have come to learn while working in the production industry.
