Hi, I'm Tharindu Kalhara, a Cloud & DevOps Platform Engineer, AWS Community Builder, and someone who has spent years turning complex infrastructure concepts into lessons that actually stick.

Over the years, I've trained more than 5,000 students and professionals - from complete beginners to working engineers in corporate environments, across cloud computing, DevOps, and containerization. I currently lecture at the Institute of Digital Engineering Technology (IDET), delivering AWS and Cloud Operations programmes, and I've been invited to deliver sessions at universities across Sri Lanka.

My real-world experience spans production-grade ML infrastructure at OREL IT, a DevRel engineering role at CertDirectory (a globally recognized certification platform with CNCF partnership), and active work with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, and more, tools I use daily, not just teach theoretically.

I hold industry-recognized certifications including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Aviatrix Multicloud, and GitHub Foundations, so I understand exactly what it takes to go from learner to certified professional.

Beyond the courses, I founded CryptX 1.0, Sri Lanka's first triple-tech event, serve as a judge at national-level hackathons, host a tech podcast, run mentorship programmes, and share DevOps content on my YouTube channel. I'm recognized as Sri Lanka's LinkedIn Rising Star (October 2025) and a two-time Top 10 Tech Voice in Sri Lanka by Favikon.
