About me
Also known as Tanya, Your_Canadian_Buddy, on Instagram. Nice to meet you!
You'll benefit from what I offer, if you are considering studying in Canada, heard any of the following and suspect that there is more to it:
- it's easy to become a permanent resident in Canada after graduation
- it's easy to find a part-time job
- you can easily change a program/school once you are in Canada
You'll like working with me if you:
- like to make informed decisions every step of the way
- would like to take your future in Canada into your own hands
- have a limited budget and want to use it wisely
You won't like working with me if you:
- like delegating everything to an agent and are not ready to do your part
- you have an unlimited budget and have a room for error
I am here to help you:
- make an informed decision about studying in Canada (where and how to look for a better program selection than agents offer, how to prepare a comprehensive student visa application package, etc. )
- avoid common mistakes
- understand whether studying in Canada is right for you, and if it is,
- take control of your future there
About me
Why I do this
I see my bigger purpose in helping students plan several steps ahead, which I rarely see them do.
Because of this, I've seen many students who:
- struggled with staying in Canada after studying because the program they chose minimized their immigration options
- had unnecessary expenses
- did not follow immigration regulations and could not finish what they started
I am here to minimize the knowledge gap and help students prepare a good plan for their future.
Work experience
I've started my career in international education in 2012, and worked in the following capacities:
- Agent overseas and in Canada, registering students in different educational institutions and helping them apply for a visa
- Admissions Officer at a college in Canada, making decisions on students' applications for program admission
- International Student Advisor at a college in Canada, helping students with settlement and immigration compliance questions
- Licensed Immigration Consultant, advising applicants on their options of staying in Canada permanently
In simple words, I've worked with every aspect that surrounds a student journey from temporary to permanent residence.
Credentials:
- Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, licensed since 2018
- Diploma in Immigration Counselling, graduated with honors, 2016
- Master's Degree in International Relations, graduated with honors, 2011
P.S.:
I've landed in Canada in 2015 as an immigrant, first in Ontario, and then I moved to Alberta. I fell in love with this beautiful and accepting country, and it is my home now.
I can't say that every aspect of my new life here was easy, but I'm ready to share what I know so that it could be easier for you.
Regardless of how you choose to proceed, I hope your life plans come true.
Warm regards,
Tanya,
Your Canadian Buddy
