When Shane and Meredith Ransley first began teaching horsemanship way back in the early 1990s, they had one goal. To help horse lovers everywhere and to develop a system of first-class horsemanship that was repeatable, achievable, affordable, measurable and could be studied anywhere, by anybody as long as they had the heart and desire to be the kind of horseman their horse deserved.
For 6 years they were founding instructors for Pat Parelli when he first brought his programme to Australia.
Shane and Meredith learnt a lot from Pat and will forever be grateful for his paradigm-changing views on working with and understanding horses as well as the opportunities .
So, in 2000, they began filming and recording their step-by-step programme, documenting on film or in text, all the knowledge and information they had attained over the years.
Since then, the programme has had a few changes as technology has improved but the information is still the same and just as relevant today as it was 20 years ago.
Today the QS programme is studied in countries all over the world. Shane and Meredith are based at the QSSC in Queensland Australia where they run their ever-popular camps and courses.
