I've been an English teacher throughout 3 continents over the past decade, switching to online teaching 2 years ago, and focusing on online conversational classes since January.

I found that living and working in one place for a big company might allow me to earn more money, but I would always be less happy as my job would eat away my spare time until it became my full life's focus. Not to mention that making more money means nothing if you're spending it all in an expensive country.

I now give conversational English classes on italki because I want to set my hours and pay. I love the job and I love being able to travel with it. I hope to help others to find the same benefits of being a digital nomad.
