Rasmus Pechuel is the CEO of Ingenious Knowledge and an expert in innovative learning approaches. He has a technical background from working in the American gaming industry for seven years as an online administration lead combined with an educational background from creating a new institution for three years at the University of Cologne. He has been involved in several research projects that push IT-supported learning beyond the current state-of-the-art. An example of this would be the creation of a new generation of serious games for blended learning scenarios in vocational education settings.

Rasmus is an expert in the field of learning analytics and has given talks and workshops at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, at NASA Science Labs and for the German ministry of Education.
