Rewild Your Horse Spirit
About me
Hi, my name is Rachel Windchaser and I am the creator of the ReWild your Horse Spirit Educational Program and Horsemith™ School, based at Windchaser Ranch in Spain, but also globally online.
I have been around horses all my life, at three years old my father presented me with my first pony. And it was definitely a learn on the job kinda education.
His way was always compassionate yet practical and I hope that can be seen in the teachings I provide. I continue to use his advise of “Be Kind and Check your timing” in my coaching today.
My Dad aside, the very best teachers have been the horses in my life.
I have worked in the UK, Spain and Italy, and held clinics intewrnationally. Spending my time with a number of breeds and involved in diverse disciplines.
I returned to Spain in 2015 and today I am accompanied on the ‘Trail’ by a herd of rare Colonial Spanish Mustangs. Windchaser Ranch is home to the first and only preservation herd of this endangered breed in Spain.
Alongside my new 'teachers' I have developed a conversation between horse and human where the relationship is front and centre no matter the discipline or level. I am helping an international community of students with their connections, balancing goals and relationships.
As domestic horses become increasingly diluted and humans become more concentrated due to the stress of modern life, we sometimes need a helping hand to guide us to balance.
I often joke that I am as much a couples counsellor as a equine coach.
With compassion I believe it is never too late to change the narrative.
The ReWild Your Horse Spirit philosophy is as much about the human element as it is about the horse. My desire is that the harmony between horse and human becomes as important as any other aspect of training. It is the Spanish Mustangs that have given me a unique perspective on this conversation due to their more “wild” selves.
My goal is to ensure your human gaols are met with a new compassionate and ethical approach. Yes, it is possible to have both.
Together we will build strong relational foundations no matter your discipline or desires, your horses age or experience.
Spending more time being and less doing.
Once this balance has been discovered the opportunities for success are there for both of you...
