Dr. Prasasti Pandit is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Rhode Island, USA. She has experience of teaching philosophy to undergraduate and graduate students of India since 2014. She also has the experience of teaching undergraduate students of James Madison University, USA as an Invited Guest Lecturer in October 2021. She completed her PhD in 2020 from Visva-Bharati University. Her Specialized areas are Normative Ethics, Virtue Ethics, History of Western Epistemology from ancient Greek epistemology, Medieval thoughts to Modern Philosophy, Moral philosophy from ancient Greek virtue theory, Medieval moral thoughts to Modern ethics, and Indian Philosophy from ancient Carvaka, Nyaya, Samkhya-Yoga, Buddhism, Jainism, Vedanta philosophy. She attended several National and International conferences including World Congress of Philosophy as an Invited Speaker and presents her research. She also has publication in UGC-approved Journals and International journals including the leading journals of Philosophy like Journal of Indian Council of Philosophical Research (under SpringerNature) and Philosophia (Philippines). She has incredible feedback record as an excellent Educator from the students of India, USA, and in Global level. She is a passionate educator and dedicated academic researcher of Philosophy and is interested to join academic discussions and research collaborations in her field.
