Accreditations:
Regulatory history provides a REAL DEFINITION of what a professional trader is. No one can claim to be or have been a Pro trader without having been classified and having performed a controlled function under the local regulatory body definition. That means that these traders have to be regulated and take their exams through the regulatory bodies such as the FSA or FINRA, etc. There is a Public record of that in almost every geography.
So one very important word of advice:
Do not take any trading educator’s word for it.
Check their public records, and verify that everything they claim to be, matches up with their records. If they have ever been in professional trading , their records will show it, as well as any Financial news web search. Why do we insist on that? Because we know FOR A FACT that the vast majority of “trading educators” have zero professional trading background and or knowledge. They merely rely on marketing and high pressure sales tactics. At the end of the day, they are retail traders PRETENDING TO BE PROFESSIONAL traders.
