Meet Narendra Nathan, a Chartered Professional Civil Engineer with 42 years of experience, who found solace and balance through the ancient practice of Yoga. For over 35 years, Narendra dedicated himself to Yoga practice, eventually sharing his passion by teaching Yoga in his community for more than 20 years.
Narendra is an experienced Yoga teacher (E- RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance and his courses are also eligible for continuing education ( YACEP) with Yoga Alliance.
Driven by his love for this ancient wisdom, Narendra decided to retire from his engineering profession and devote his life to Yoga and community service. His vision: to offer affordable, authentic Yoga without gimmicks or aberrations, honouring the practice as it was taught by the sages of India thousands of years ago.
Narendra's dedication to the Ashtanga Yoga, as expounded by Sage Patanjali, led him to establish the Sanatana Yoga Academy (SYA). "Sanatana" means eternal or time immemorial, and at SYA, they strive to teach Yoga as it was from the very beginning. He has further deepened his knowledge and practice through his Teacher and guide Sri Sathya Sai Baba and his expositions on Ashtanga Yoga.
Recognizing the transformative power of Yoga, Narendra designed programs specifically for often overlooked members of society, such as seniors and prisoners. These programs aim to offer the benefits of Yoga to everyone, regardless of age or circumstance.
Now, Narendra invites you to join him on Udemy, where he shares his wealth of knowledge through various courses designed to empower you to achieve health, well-being, and spiritual progress. Just like the hundreds of students he has inspired in person, you too can experience the life-changing power of Yoga with Narendra Nathan.
