From an early age Mark was curious to find out how things worked. His curiosity started with bicycles, which progressed to cars, computers, and eventually the English language. However, learning how things work is only part of the process. He also finds great pleasure in teaching, and seeing his students succeed with what he teaches them.
In 2014, Mark completed his TEFL qualification - Teaching English as a Foreign Language - and started his career teaching English in Brazil.
He taught students from different backgrounds and age groups from the traditional classroom environment to Business English lessons for CEOs. His experience ranges from regular language schools, in-company classes, immersion events, to online one-to-one lessons.
In 2016, he achieved the CELTA, the prestigious Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults by Cambridge University.
During his experience in Brazil, Mark noticed a gap between his students’ learning goals and the courses provided by schools. The promise of a perfect method to learn English and become fluent in no time often left students disappointed and frustrated.
So based on this experience, Mark developed a combination of practices to fit each student's personality, and reason to learn, a method that adapts to each student’s needs and learning expectations.
In 2016, Mark started to teach one-to-one online lessons and never looked back. Teaching English to students from all over the world, only increased his passion to discover new ways to implement his ideas and use technology to help more people learn the language skills they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
