Dr.C.T.Manimegalai is currently working as  Professor in the Department of ECE, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur. She has done her PH.D in Wireless Communication in the year 2014.

Her area of specialization include Wireless communication, Signal processing, Optical communication and Image processing. She has received a funded project from “Studies on Disaster - resilient management and Bidirectional Multiband signal transmission Using Double Clad Fibers in

Radio Over Fiber Systems” From DST, India. She has filed a patent , “ An Optical Wireless charging and data Transfer Apparatus”. She is a member of several professional societies such asIEEE, IEI, IETE, OSI and ISTE. She has published several papers in refereed Journals
