I am a spring of 2026 graduate of Drake University's occupational therapy doctoral program. My clinical areas of interest include pediatric services in schools, outpatient, and inpatient settings. Completing my final rotation, my doctoral capstone, in the school setting has felt very full-circle, as this is the setting that I was first introduced to occupational therapy! Spending the last 14 weeks working primarily with young adults has inspired new interests of mine, including owning a private practice one day! I am thankful for all the experiences that have shaped me into the soon-to-be entry level OT that I am, as well as to be working in a profession I am deeply passionate about.
