About me
I am an entrepreneur and startup advisor with over a decade of experience in India's startup ecosystem. At Starworks Prime, we have built a network of over 2,000 startups, 50 incubators, and 300 mentors and investors.
Track Record
I have directly worked with 5 startups and raised over USD 1.4 million in funding, and guided more than 20 startups in developing their products and achieving early revenue through structured startup programs. My mentorship work spans prestigious initiatives, including the Elevate Women Incubation Program under Startup Karnataka (DST-supported) and the Student Innovator Program run by AIC–MIT ADT University, part of NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission.
In venture support roles, I have worked with startups like Azurite edtech, contributing to business model development, backend architecture, and educational content creation—supporting a USD 200,000 fundraise. During my bachelor's degree, I co-founded Changepay with a friend, where I handled market research, proposal writing, and early customer acquisition, helping raise USD 50,000 before graduation.
I also have a failed startup under my belt—one where I served as director that raised USD 500,000 and entered into a distressed asset sale. This experience taught me invaluable lessons about what can go wrong in startup execution.
Academic and Institutional Work
I co-developed and implemented the AICTE-compliant Minor Degree program in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Development (IEV) in engineering institutions. I have delivered Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and designed incubation support frameworks for colleges seeking to promote entrepreneurship.
Teaching Philosophy
My teaching approach is grounded in real-world startup execution and the lived experience of building ventures. I work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, education, and ecosystem development, with a strong emphasis on practical execution and founder enablement. I believe startup education should be experiential, founder-driven, and practically useful—connecting learners with the realities of building and growing ventures from messy beginnings to structured outcomes.
