Researcher & Teacher I Boost your relationship intelligence
About me
Love is hard. But it doesn't have to be. I believe that healthy love is a skill that can be learned, trained and mastered like a muscle.
As a child of divorced parents, I have always been curious about what I could do to stay together. To fulfill this need, I have researched dozens of books, articles, as well as courses on what builds great relationships. This passion to learn and create understanding brings me immense joy.
I am currently a graduate student and researcher at the University of Toronto. I have previously published research on mental health, health promotion, and student safety. You can find my research in large medical journals on harm reduction, public health and psychology. I am also occasionally called on to review articles for these journals occasionally.
My teaching experience includes large conference or keynote presentations, facilitating youth leadership programs, acting as a teaching assistant to university classes, and mentoring students.
My previous work has been accessed thousands of times and presented at 10 events across North America and Europe. Always curious, I have previously studied at five universities in four countries, from India to France to Canada, and speak three languages. I am extremely grateful to university scholarship donors which have made these experiences possible, for without them I would not have been able to leave my modest home.
My work has also been picked up by media outlets including the Canadian Public Health Association blog.
You can learn more about what I do by listening to my podcast, the Learn2Love Podcast, or seeing my blog.
Nothing excites me more than learning and teaching, which is why I have created this course for you today. I hope you will achieve the same joy from taking it that I have gathered in making it.
Thank you for reading and sharing your precious time with me.
