Karen Wickre

Karen is a veteran writer, editor, and connector in Silicon Valley. She has spent ~30 years doing communications and editorial work for companies ranging from startups to giants like Google and Twitter. Having held many jobs, she has built a wide-ranging network of friends, allies and colleagues in many fields — and at the same time she's an introvert who always looks forward to being at home.

Her avocation, and the reason she wrote a book on the subject (Taking the Work Out of Networking), is to help others find a better way to build a network in their own style, and at their own pace. She's been a guest on many business podcasts, has spoken at many companies and conferences.
