About me
John S. Miko holds degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Business Administration and earned a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership with an IT specialization from Nova Southeastern University. John has taught at a 4-year private university since 2002 where he has offered courses in Analytics and MIS. He has has won several teaching awards and was named a Sam Walton Free Enterprise Fellow. Prior to his teaching career, John was employed for 10 years in the field of Information Technology primarily in the arena of Financial Services. His previous position prior to his faculty appointment was Vice-President, Information Technology at M&T Bank. He is married with five children and in his leisure time enjoys reading, surfing the Internet, and playing, coaching, and watching sports of any kind.
