My name is Sra. T and I am a Spanish teacher that learned Spanish in college.  After many years of learning Spanish from a textbook I noticed I was having a lot of problems accessing the language when it was time to speak Spanish. I would freeze. How could i know so much but speak so little??  I eventually gained fluency through studying abroad  but luckily for you I developed a method to foster your speaking from day one!  Using the scaffolding method (builiding off previous lessons), I will give you the opportunity to interpret AND speak Spanish with each lesson.  My lessons will free you from having to create piles of flashcards or sitting through boring grammar lessons. Don't get me wrong.  Traditional study can be useful but you can get that from a book in the library for free.  I'm offering you the guided SPEAKING practice I wish I had when I started my language journey. 

      Why is it called "Get Out of Your Shell?"

1. You won't learn Spanish closed up inside yourself like a turtle. 

2. Getting to speak the language doesn't have to be a slow process.
