Dr. Jena Raubenheimer gained extensive clinical experience at the Student Couselling Bureau of the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. As Professor at the Department of Psychology, she specialised in Developmental Psychology, and regularly read academic papers at Conferences in South Africa and overseas.

She was a founder member of the Open Learning Group, a Private Higher Education Institution. In 1998 she was appointed as an Executive Director of eDegree, one of the first companies in the world to offer the specialised service of development and online delivery of tertiary qualifications. In 2005 she established an eDegree office in London to extend the international agreement portfolio. 

Dr Raubenheimer joined StudySmart in 2016, and is instrumental in authoring learning development courses and study-related articles.
