Currently the Farnham Maynard Associate Professor at Trinity College Theological School in the University of Divinity Melbourne, Fergus J. King teaches courses in ministry and New Testament
He is a priest of the Scottish Episcopal Church who has ministered in Scotland, Tanzania, England and Australia.
He holds degree from the University of St Andrews, Edinburgh and Doctorate in Theology from the University of South Africa.
He has published extensively in the fields of mission and New Testament.
