Dr. K. Dhanasekaran is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science and Business Systems, School of Computing, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chengalpattu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He has investigated the root causes of plant diseases and developed a methodology for addressing problems in agriculture through information extraction by using machine learning techniques. He is an active teaching professional and researcher who works for society's peace and upliftment. He has several publications to his credit which have been published in reputed journals and he is regularly contributing articles of national and international importance that are highly appreciated and are being published. He is a member of ACM, ISTE, and IAENG. He is serving as a reviewer of various international journals. He has been honoured with the "Excellent Young Researcher Award". His research interests include machine learning, data analytics, and natural language processing. During his service, he has worked as a research coordinator, NBA coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, and NIRF Coordinator. As a project guide, he has received the “Best Project of the Year” award from KSCST. He has received grants from funding Agencies namely ISRO, CSIR, DRDO, and the Government of India for organizing national-level seminar, national-level conference, national level workshop respectively. He has published a Book chapter in IGI Global, USA. He has presented papers at various conferences and participated in various seminars, workshops, and training programmes.
