David got his bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Panamericana and a master's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Mathematics Research Center (CIMAT) where he focused his research on artificial intelligence, particularly in evolutionary algorithms.
David is a Principal Software Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in the industry, having worked at Amazon and Oracle. He also has worked for Karat as a contractor to interview engineers for companies such as Roblox, Indeed, Walmart, Palantir, and others. He has interviewed hundreds of candidates during his trajectory and has participated as a problem setter for questions used in recruitment processes.
In the academy he has done research stays at Ritsumeikan University and CIMAT, focusing his investigations on the fields of Machine Learning and Bayesian statistics. He frequently collaborates as a professor at Universidad Panamericana, teaching mainly the courses of Computer Programming, and Algorithm Design and Analysis.
He is the founder of dnd-learning, an organization focused on creating educational content, and is co-author of the book "Algorithms for Competitive Programming".
