Why I made my course:
How To Be A Successful Bartender:
When I moved to New York City 6 years ago. I wanted to bartend because I knew and heard from other people that it was the best job to have while figuring out what you want to do with your life. It makes great money and you get to meet and network with people.
Not knowing much about the profession, I blindly signed up for a $500, 2 week bartending course. Although I did learn some information about alcohol and drink recipes, when I applied to bartending jobs I had no clue on how to actually bartend.
I just knew how vodka was made and how to make a martini. The first job I got I was fired on the first day because I couldn’t open a bottle of wine, and while shaking a margarita the back of the shaker fell onto the floor because I did not know the proper technique on how to shake. I was mad because I wasted so much time and money and could not successfully bartend as the bartending school did not teach me how.
I made my bartending course so that you can take it and know exactly what it takes to bartend. It is black or white, none of the information in this course is useless like 95% of the information I learned in bartending school. All the information in my course is 100% practical.
What I’m doing now:
I fell in love with bartending when I got the opportunity to work at a high end Greek restaurant in Tribeca. Missing my family I most recently moved back home to Maine. You can find me bartending in Maine's hottest bars and weddings during the summer. In the winter, my focus is spending time on my other passions, online course making, traveling with my wife, staying fit, and spending time with family.
