My name is Chris! After graduating with a degree in English and working in publishing for many years, I found myself looking for a new challenge and some adventure. So, I decided to get my CELTA...the best TESOL qualification ;) ...and move to South Korea. There, I taught intermediate to advanced English to adults AND was totally responsible for creating my own materials!!!
At first, they were not so good, but after a few years, I found a method that really works. Then, after doing it even longer, eventually I had this huge supply of resources unlike anything else out there. I really love teaching, and eventually I realized that the internet is the best way to reach as many students as possible!
I've studied Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean...and while my Portuguese and Korean are really bad...my Spanish is okay. In other words, I know what it's like to study a language and think it's impossible...Korean...and I know what it's like to study a language and make some progress BUT never sound as good as I want to...Spanish.
