I am a Marine Engineer with hands-on experience across a wide range of vessel types, combining technical expertise with a strong academic background. I hold a PhD in Strategic Management & Policy, which complements my engineering foundation by offering a broader understanding of organizational dynamics and long-term decision-making in the maritime and corporate sectors.
Over the years, I’ve worked both onboard and ashore, gaining in-depth knowledge of vessel operations and shipping company structures. For the past 1.5 years, I have been part of the Technical Department of a shipping company, with a key focus during the last year on Environmental Management—an increasingly vital area in the maritime industry.
In addition to my engineering and technical background, I have teaching experience at the Lifelong Learning Center of the University of Patras in Greece, where I delivered courses on the basic principles of Human Resources Management. This role allowed me to bridge the gap between strategic management theory and real-world application, particularly in people-centric and high-stakes environments like shipping.
Through Udemy, I aim to share practical insights and industry knowledge with professionals and students looking to deepen their understanding of maritime operations, environmental practices, and strategic management in the shipping sector.
