Celal Hakan Canbaz (Dr. Jalal) is an experienced Senior Energy Expert with a diverse background in industrial and academic settings. He holds a Ph.D. in Energy, also MSc and BSc degrees in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Throughout his career, he has held positions as a researcher, instructor, and co-founder of Climpach Consulting LLC, where he has developed expertise in areas such as SCAL analysis, reservoir wettability characterization, and well-testing analysis. Canbaz has contributed to over 30 projects with major oil companies and authored over 45 conference and journal papers and three books. Additionally, he has delivered over 25 industrial and technical short courses on various topics, including oil and gas, energy, project management, project finance, and sustainability. His accolades include first-place awards in SPE paper contests and a US reservoir wettability characterization method patent. He is proficient in various technical software and is actively involved in the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers. He was among the top 100 scientists in the Azerbaijan National H-index Ranking.
