25+ years of experience improving and developing businesses of all sizes from Multinationals, Fortune 500 companies, Small Medium Enterprises, and Start-Ups. High level business insight, financial strategy, continuous improvement and management advice to grow a company's profitability. I have trained and coached students, employees, and leaders in growing their know-how and created several business plans, investor pitches and VC presentations, applied for investment funds, and developed financial models.

I have always enjoyed learning and teaching. This enjoyment allowed me to evolve in my studies, become a professor and author/co-author of several books and scientific papers. At the moment I am the co-author of five books: one is in the area of ​​investments, one in the area of financial optimization, and three in the area of ​ continuous improvement.

My academic career started with a bachelor's degree in accounting and administration at ISCA Aveiro, followed by a degree in financial auditing at ISAG. I later completed a master´s degree in finance and a PhD in management, both at Universidade Portucalense. I have taught at MBA courses, supervised several thesis, projects and case studies performed at the highest levels in the areas of finance and management.

The financial, accounting, management and tax areas were, from an early age, present in my life. I am a certified accountant with experience working for large companies and multinationals. I was the Financial Director of some. As I grew my education, so did the desire to implement my know-how. To this end, I created CM, a consulting company where I am the CEO. On one hand, it operates as a consulting firm and, on the other hand, at the level of higher education and business training and coaching.

This very enriching business experience, combined with the academic know-how, opened up new horizons, new doors for me, I feel confident in delivering superior results in almost any area related to a business, in almost any business area, in research related fields, and in teaching/coaching managers.
