I have been teaching for over 20 years, predominantly teaching Italian, at the Secondary level .  It's a passion.  It's the love of and for the Italian language and culture that gives me the desire and great joy of sharing it with others.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Italian Studies and continued post graduate work in Education.  I later earned my graduate degree in Liberal Studies.  It was after receiving my Master's degree from the University of Chicago that my love for all things Italian grew even more. I saw how clearly Italy and its history connected to so many other subjects and topics--it's Connection that inspired me to create this course.  I hope to encourage travel to Italy and infuse a knowledge of Italy's landscape, its people, its food, artists, culture, and language.  Benvenuti e buon divertimento!  Welcome and have fun!
