Andrei Gheorghiu is an experienced trainer, consultant, and author with over two decades of experience in IT and technology. He holds industry certifications including ITIL Master, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and CISSP, and has trained more than 20,000 students in IT Service Management, Information Security, IT Governance, Audit, and Artificial Intelligence.

Andrei is the author of both editions of Building Data-Driven Applications with LlamaIndex, published by Packt, a hands-on guide to building AI applications using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and large language models.

His recent work focuses on Generative AI and, in particular, on helping people move beyond simply using AI tools to effectively directing and delegating work to AI. Drawing on his extensive experience as both a practitioner and educator, he focuses on practical approaches that help professionals apply emerging technologies to real-world problems.
