أنا أمير عاطف، كاتب وروائي مصري متخصص في أدب الجريمة والتشويق والغموض، وعضو اتحاد كتّاب مصر، ومؤسس ومدير وكالة ضاد الأدبية.

حصلت على ليسانس الآداب من جامعة عين شمس، قسم الحضارة الأوروبية، ودرست الأدبين اليوناني واللاتيني؛ وهي دراسة أسهمت في تعميق فهمي لبناء الحكاية، وتطور الصراع، والجذور القديمة لفنون السرد.

لا أدرّس الكتابة من خارج المهنة، ولا أقدّم قواعد نظرية منفصلة عن الواقع؛ بل أنقل إلى طلابي خلاصة تجربة ممتدة في كتابة الرواية، وإعادة الكتابة، وبناء الحبكات والشخصيات، والتعامل مع دور النشر والقراء.

ومن خلال منصبي كرئيس تنفيذي ومؤسس وكالة ضاد الأدبية، أعمل بصورة مباشرة مع الكتّاب على قراءة مخطوطاتهم وتطويرها وتحريرها، ومعالجة مشكلاتها السردية واللغوية، ومساعدتهم على الوصول بأعمالهم إلى أفضل صورة ممكنة.

I am Amir Atef, an Egyptian writer and novelist specializing in crime, mystery, and thriller fiction. I am a member of the Egyptian Writers’ Union and the founder and director of Dhad Literary Agency.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Department of European Civilization at Ain Shams University, where I studied Greek and Latin literature. This academic background has deepened my understanding of storytelling, dramatic conflict, and the classical foundations of narrative art.

I do not teach writing from the sidelines, nor do I present abstract theories detached from practice. Instead, I share with my students the knowledge I have gained through years of writing and rewriting novels, crafting plots and characters, and engaging with publishers and readers.

Through Dhad Literary Agency, as CEO, I work directly with writers to evaluate, develop, and edit their manuscripts, address narrative and linguistic issues, and help them bring their work to the strongest possible form.

More than 3,200 learners from over 50 countries have enrolled in my Udemy courses. Through these courses, I aim to make the craft of Arabic novel writing more accessible and transform complex concepts into practical tools that writers can apply to their own projects—from the first spark of an idea to submitting a completed manuscript to a publisher.

My goal is not to teach you to write like me. It is to help you develop a deep understanding of the novelist’s craft, discover your own voice, and learn how to transform your idea into a living story worth reading.
